• Toronto acquired right-hander Robinson Pina from Miami in exchange for 24-year-old Single-A pitcher Colby Martin.
• Miami designated Pina for assignment on June 21 before Toronto finalized the swap on June 25.
• In Triple-A Jacksonville this season Pina posted a 4–3 record with a 3.47 ERA and 1.193 WHIP over 13 outings, 11 of which were starts.
• He made his MLB debut earlier this year for Miami, allowing a solo home run in one inning of work.
• Martin, a former infielder, recorded a 1.61 ERA in 20 relief appearances at Single-A before the trade.
