The Columbus Blue Jackets and Detroit Red Wings revealed their jerseys for the NHL Stadium Series game, scheduled for March 1 at Ohio Stadium.
The Blue Jackets' navy jersey features a cannon as the primary logo for the first time, along with chevron striping inspired by Union Army uniforms.
The Red Wings' white jersey includes a script 'Detroit' logo, sleeve stripes evoking automotive design, and a small homage to their octopus mascot on the back hem.
Designers incorporated subtle local elements, such as Ohio outlines on Blue Jackets captain patches and a buckeye leaf pattern inside the jersey collar.
The game marks the Blue Jackets' first outdoor appearance, while the Red Wings, participating in their fifth, will wear helmets reminiscent of Michigan Wolverines football helmets.
