  • About $1.9 billion remains for payments after fees and costs, with roughly $1.78 billion for individuals and insured groups and $120 million for self‑funded accounts.
  • Roughly six million claims were filed, so most payouts will be modest, often estimated near $300 to $333 based on premiums paid and plan type.
  • The settlement resolved allegations that regional Blue plans agreed not to compete, and it also requires business‑practice changes designed to increase competition.
