Bloober Team Unveils 'I Hate This Place' as First Game Under New Horror Label

The isometric survival-horror game adapts the Eisner-nominated comic series and is set for a late 2025 release.

'I Hate This Place' is being developed by Rock Square Thunder under Bloober Team's Broken Mirror Games label.
The game features a retro comic-book aesthetic and survival mechanics such as crafting, melee and gun combat, and a dynamic day-night cycle.
Players take on the role of Elena, who must survive in a hostile world after awakening a malevolent force.
The game is based on the critically acclaimed comic series by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin, published by Skybound Entertainment.
Scheduled for release in Q4 2025, the game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
