• Tom Blomqvist led both sessions at Indianapolis, improving to a 1:15.714 in Practice 2 after topping Practice 1 at 1:16.209 as Meyer Shank Racing ran 1–2.
• IMSA will delete fastest qualifying laps for the No. 11 TDS LMP2 and No. 24 BMW for Practice 1 red flags, for Tower’s No. 8 entry after Sébastien Bourdais caused a Practice 2 stoppage, and for the No. 63 Lamborghini following a late three-car crash.
• The opening practice was halted three times: the No. 4 Corvette stopped with an oil leak, debris followed contact involving the No. 11 TDS and AF Corse, and Philipp Eng spun into the Turn 4 gravel.
• Mikkel Jensen set the LMP2 best at 1:17.407, while Valentin Hasse-Clot topped GTD at 1:24.403, edging GTD Pro pace-setter Davide Rigon by 0.016 seconds.
• All three Porsche 963s ran at the back of GTP after a weight increase and power reduction, while Practice 2 highlights included Romain Grosjean putting the Lamborghini SC63 fourth and Dries Vanthoor fifth for BMW.
