Blizzard to Delist Warcraft I & II from GOG Following Remaster Launch

GOG pledges to preserve the original games for existing owners through its new Preservation Program.

Blizzard has requested the removal of Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and Warcraft II from GOG's storefront by December 13, 2024.
The decision coincides with Blizzard's release of remastered versions of the games on its Battle.net platform last month.
GOG's Preservation Program will ensure continued compatibility and support for the delisted games for existing owners, including updates for future operating systems.
The GOG versions of the games include unique enhancements like improved multiplayer options and better compatibility with modern monitors.
A discount code, 'MakeWarcraftLiveForever,' is available for players to purchase the original DRM-free versions at $13 before they are delisted.
