Blinken to Travel to China Next Week to Tackle Tensions

Secretary of State Antony Blinken plans to travel to China next week to improve ties between the US and China.
Blinken will meet with senior Chinese officials, including Foreign Minister Qin Gang and possibly President Xi Jinping.
The trip was postponed from February after a Chinese spy balloon flew over the US.
Contacts between the US and China have been limited due to disputes over China's actions in the South China Sea, toward Taiwan, and support for Russia.
Blinken's trip is aimed at stabilizing the tense relationship between the world's two largest economies.
