Overview
- CHP said a truck carrying barrels of bleach and muriatic acid hit the median near the Magdalena Avenue exit at about 12:52 p.m., causing leaks.
- All southbound lanes initially closed with traffic diverted to the Magdalena off-ramp as two northbound lanes were shut for hazmat operations.
- By around 3:40 p.m., officials reported two northbound lanes and one southbound lane had reopened, and drivers were urged to avoid the area.
