Overview

• Emergency services received the first call at around 1 a.m. on July 18 and dispatched fire crews to the scene in Dermbach’s Wartburgkreis district
• Firefighters brought the fire under control within hours, but the roof structure was completely lost to the flames
• No occupants were inside the building when the blaze broke out and there were no reported injuries
• Police and local assessors estimate the resulting property damage at approximately €40,000
