  • Pompiers du Var deployed roughly 30 firefighters and four vehicles to battle the blaze.
  • Antipollution barriers were installed after nearby yachts were cleared from the immediate area.
  • Thick black smoke hampered boarding operations and two men sought treatment for smoke inhalation.
  • Flames remain unextinguished as of early July 11 and authorities are investigating the fire’s origin.
