• Blake Lively filed a lawsuit in December alleging sexual harassment by her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni during production of the film.
• Justin Baldoni countersued in January, seeking $400 million in defamation and extortion claims against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and publicist Leslie Sloane.
• Nineteen women’s rights and survivors’ organizations, including Sanctuary for Families, National Organization for Women, Equal Rights Advocates and Child USA, filed amicus briefs supporting Lively.
• The briefs argue that Baldoni’s lawsuit contradicts his long-standing public advocacy for women’s rights, employs DARVO tactics and threatens protections under California’s AB 933 law.
• On June 2, Judge Lewis Liman dismissed Lively’s withdrawn emotional distress claims and blocked Baldoni from accessing her private therapy and medical records as the case heads to trial in March 2026.
