Overview

• The cinematic shows Black Ops 6’s Weaver, Grey, Carver, and Maya fighting alongside never-before-seen incarnations of Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai.
• The story shifts from Janus Towers into the Dark Aether, where a cowboy-like antagonist uses caged skulls to drain the crew’s life force and partially zombify them.
• Treyarch says Ashes of the Damned will be the largest round-based Zombies map to date, drawing inspiration from Tranzit and introducing a new Wonder Vehicle for traversal.
• Treyarch and Activision plan a substantial Zombies blog update next week, with additional information and live gameplay slated for the Call of Duty: Next event on September 30.
• Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches November 14 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, with a multiplayer beta starting October 2, and cosmetics and weapons from Black Ops 6 will not carry forward.
