Black Ops 7 Beta Runs Oct. 2–8 With Early Access Rolling Into Open Play

Early entry comes via preorder, eligible Game Pass tiers or a one-hour Twitch Drop during Call of Duty: Next.

Overview

  • Activision published exact unlock times: Early Access runs Oct. 2–5 and the Open Beta runs Oct. 5–8, starting and ending at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.
  • Access paths include preorders, Game Pass Ultimate or PC, partner codes such as Xfinity, and a code earned by watching the official Twitch Next stream for one hour, with additional creator and outlet giveaways live.
  • The test features six 6v6 maps (Blackheart, Cortex, Exposure, Imprint, The Forge, Toshin), core modes including Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint, the new Overload mode, a Training Course, and a Zombies slice.
  • Upgraded anti-cheat measures debut in the beta, with machine‑learning detection, a new Ricochet client, Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 required on PC, and real‑time removals under live test conditions.
  • The beta is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S with cross‑play, and the full release arrives Nov. 14 with day‑one access on Xbox Game Pass for Ultimate and PC subscribers.
