Black Ops 7 Beta Preload Live as Early Access Starts Oct. 2 With First‑Ever Zombies Test

Early entry unlocks through preorders, eligible Game Pass memberships or one-hour Twitch drops before the Oct. 5 open beta.

Overview

  • Preloading is available now for players with early access, with servers set to go live Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. PT and the open beta running Oct. 5–8 at the same daily time.
  • The beta spans PC, PlayStation and Xbox with cross-play, and PC access requires RICOCHET anti-cheat safeguards including TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot.
  • Treyarch’s test build includes five multiplayer modes featuring the new 6v6 Overload, six core launch maps, a training course, and Zombies Survival on Vandorn Farm for the first time in a Call of Duty beta.
  • Early access is granted via digital preorders, eligible Xbox Game Pass tiers on console or PC, or a Twitch-only Call of Duty: NEXT drop earned by watching for one hour; some partners are also distributing codes.
  • Activision confirmed Black Ops 7 will integrate into Warzone in Season 1 with the Haven’s Hollow Resurgence map while Verdansk remains a primary battleground, following the full game’s Nov. 14 launch.
