Black Ops 7 Beta Confronts Early Cheaters as Treyarch Rolls Out Zombies, New Mode and Weekend Tuning

Activision says the beta runs with limited Ricochet, with full anti-cheat enforcement set for the November 14 release.

Overview

  • Early access began October 2 across PlayStation, Xbox and PC, with the open beta scheduled for October 5–8.
  • Clips showing wall hacks and aim bots surfaced within hours, and Treyarch confirmed bans for specific accounts featured in videos.
  • Activision reiterated that upgraded Ricochet Anti-Cheat detection is not fully active during the test and will be fully enforced at launch.
  • PC participants must enable TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot to play, requirements intended to harden the beta environment against cheats.
