BJYM Unveils NaMo Yuva Run for Sept. 21 Across 75 Cities Ahead of Service Fortnight

Organisers target roughly one million young runners to promote a drug-free, fitness-first message.

Overview

  • The youth wing launched the campaign on September 7 in New Delhi, announcing synchronized runs at 75 locations with 10,000–15,000 participants at each under the “Nasha Mukt Bharat” theme.
  • Actor and fitness advocate Milind Soman was named National Run Ambassador for the initiative.
  • Organisers unveiled the logo, mascot, T‑shirt and a registration portal (www.namoyuvarun.com) for participants.
  • The effort dovetails with Seva Pakhwada from September 17 to October 2, when BJP-led administrations plan health camps, cleanliness drives, blood donation and tree planting, with state units such as Haryana and Assam holding preparatory workshops.
  • Leaders said Indian diaspora groups will stage parallel youth runs in 75 international cities.
