BJP Steps Up Rajasthan Drive for G RAM G, Accuses Congress of Misinformation

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma addressed a VB-G RAM G workshop in Jaipur and urged party workers to take the awareness campaign to every village.
BJP leaders said the new G RAM G law replaces MGNREGA and promises 125 days of employment, wages within 15 days, and an unemployment allowance if work is not provided in that period.
Arun Singh alleged the Congress is spreading false claims that MGNREGA is being shut down and cited examples of suspected corruption such as repeated pothole repairs on paper.
Sharma highlighted state achievements including over one lakh jobs issued, 1.43 lakh recruitments underway, a calendar for another one lakh posts, and about 400 arrests in paper leak cases.
Singh linked Congress opposition to initiatives associated with Lord Ram and said Gram Sabhas will set priority works such as schools, warehouses, skill centers, nursing homes, and ponds.
