BJP Promises Free Education for Needy Students in Delhi Poll Manifesto

The second part of BJP's manifesto includes financial aid for competitive exams, welfare schemes for workers, and a probe into AAP's alleged corruption.

  • The BJP's second manifesto for Delhi elections pledges free education from kindergarten to postgraduate levels for needy students in government institutions.
  • A one-time financial assistance of ₹15,000 and reimbursement of travel and application fees twice are promised for competitive exam aspirants.
  • Scheduled Caste students pursuing technical and professional courses will receive a ₹1,000 monthly stipend under the Dr. BR Ambedkar Stipend Scheme.
  • Welfare boards are proposed for auto and taxi drivers and domestic workers, offering life and accident insurance, as well as scholarships for their children.
  • The BJP also plans to establish a Special Investigation Team to probe alleged corruption during AAP's tenure in Delhi.
