The Sandeshkhali controversy has become a focal point for both BJP and TMC ahead of upcoming bypolls in the Basirhat Lok Sabha constituency, following the death of the sitting MP.
The TMC countered Adhikari's statements, asserting that the BJP's influence in West Bengal is waning and dismissing his claims of future electoral success as unrealistic.
