Overview
- On August 2 in Udalguri district, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the BJP’s BTC election campaign and announced 21-member booth committees in each of the 40 constituencies.
- The party will field candidates in 38 seats independently, reserving two as a courtesy for senior Bodo figures such as Pramod Boro and Hagrama Mohilary.
