Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF Tops $1 Billion

The milestone shows investors are adding to regulated Solana funds as trading volumes and inflows reach new highs.

Overview

  • Bitwise confirmed that its Solana Staking ETF, BSOL, held about 9.33 million SOL and had $1.0175 billion in assets under management as of Aug. 26, making it the first individual Solana ETF to exceed $1 billion.
  • The Solana ETF category recorded its strongest 10-day inflow stretch on record, gathering roughly $138 million over the period and including a single-day inflow near $47 million, according to on-chain and fund-tracking data.
  • Trading in the funds surged late in August with BSOL reporting a single-session peak above $108 million and total Solana ETF volume around $166.8 million on the same session.
  • Bitwise says about 96% of BSOL’s holdings are delegated to validators for staking, with a reported 5.80% net reward rate that is retained in the fund rather than paid out to investors in cash.
  • The inflows and trading pushed SOL above $100 briefly before a short pullback, showing that investor demand for regulated, brokerage-accessible Solana exposure has persisted despite earlier 2026 price losses and ongoing volatility.
