BitVentures Launches Digital Assets Unit, Buys Bitmain Rigs for U.S. Mining Rollout

Shares rose in early trading following plans for a phased deployment beginning this month.

  • BitVentures' board approved the official launch of a Digital Assets segment focused on cryptocurrency mining.
  • The company signed definitive purchase and hosting agreements covering several Bitmain fleets and roughly 0.5 MW of hosting capacity.
  • The acquired rigs include Antminer S21 XP Hydro, S21 XP air-cooled, and Antminer L9 units targeting about 30 PH/s for Bitcoin and roughly 0.5 TH/s combined for Litecoin and Dogecoin.
  • Deployment will proceed in batches starting in January 2026 with a full ramp-up expected in the first quarter, hosted in secure U.S. data centers.
