BitMine Stakes Another 119,000 ETH as Holdings Top 4.1 Million and Validator Queues Jump

The push to lock up coins through staking is tightening circulating supply despite a December rebuild of exchange balances on Binance.

Overview

  • On-chain data shows BitMine staked 118,944 ETH on Dec. 31, lifting its total staked amount to about 461,504 ETH worth roughly $1.37 billion.
  • The company’s Ethereum treasury now stands around 4.07–4.11 million ETH, or roughly 3.3–3.4% of supply, after late-December additions including 44,463 ETH and a 32,938 ETH transfer linked to FalconX.
  • Recent staking activity pushed Ethereum’s validator entry queue to nearly double the exit queue for the first time in six months, highlighting the supply impact.
  • BitMine says its U.S.-based Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN) is slated to launch in the first quarter of 2026.
  • Market conditions remain fragile with ETH trading near $2.9k as CryptoQuant reports nearly 8.5 million ETH flowed into Binance in December, raising reserves to about 4.17 million and elevating near-term volatility risk.
