Bitmine Lifts Staked ETH to Roughly 908,000

The company now controls roughly 3.43% of circulating ETH ahead of a Jan. 15 meeting on staking strategy.

Overview

  • On-chain data from Onchain Lens shows Bitmine staked an additional 109,504 ETH on Jan. 8, bringing its staked total to about 908,192 ETH valued around $2.95 billion.
  • Trackers also logged a separate 19,200 ETH deposit earlier the same day, extending a rapid staking push that began on Dec. 27 with multiple large transactions.
  • Company disclosures and on-chain estimates indicate Bitmine holds more than 4.07 million ETH, the largest known corporate treasury, representing about 3.43% of supply.
  • Bitmine is preparing its U.S.-based Made-in-America Validator Network for a Q1 2026 rollout, and large institutional deposits have contributed to validator entry-queue congestion.
  • Analysts have raised centralization concerns as more stake concentrates in corporate-controlled validators, even as Ethereum’s current staking yield sits near 2.8%.
