The treasure includes diverse items such as a Bitcoin worth nearly $100,000, rare Pokémon cards, historical artifacts, gold, and sports memorabilia.
Clues to the treasure locations are embedded in Collins-Black's book, 'There’s Treasure Inside,' which features puzzles, maps, and stories about the items' histories.
To ensure safety and accessibility, the chests are placed within three miles of public roads, not on private property, and do not require digging to uncover.
The hunt, described as the largest of its kind in U.S. history, was inspired by the Forrest Fenn treasure and took over five years to plan, with all items authenticated and documented by experts.
