Bisimoto Debuts Type R–Swapped, 550-HP Manual Honda Odyssey at SEMA

The one-off SEMA build from Bisimoto with Jordan Distributors is an independent project, not a Honda product.

Overview

  • A turbocharged K20C Civic Type R engine replaces the Odyssey’s factory V6 and is paired with a six-speed manual and limited-slip differential.
  • Output is claimed at roughly 550 horsepower thanks to a stage-two Mitsubishi turbo, Hondata flex-fuel tuning, and a Function Werk downpipe and tri-tip exhaust.
  • Integration-focused details include Acuity shifter hardware, a Jordan Distributors Type R engine harness, and a ghost key push-to-start system for near-OEM usability.
  • Chassis and exterior changes feature 19-inch Civic Type R wheels on 275/35 Toyo Proxes R888R tires, BC coilovers with adaptive damping, a front splitter, side skirts, and a rear diffuser with triple center exhaust tips.
  • Despite the performance overhaul, the minivan retains three rows of seats and sliding doors, and it remains a single show build with no indication of production.
