Bishop Moore Claims First FHSAA 2A Boys Golf Title by One Stroke

A 15-shot second-round rebound at Mission Inn capped a record-setting year for the Hornets.

The victory at Mission Inn’s El Campeon Course finished 603–604 over Fleming Island, with American Heritage third at 617.
Sophomore Jack Mokris placed second individually at 140 (68–72), one shot behind champion Sohan Patel of American Heritage at 139 (70–69).
Coach Marvin Snyder credited a collective push in Round 2, highlighting closing cards from Noah Manly (72), Cooper Welch (73) and Ryan Oats (77).
The program returns its entire roster next season and received an invitation to the Qdoba Tournament of Champions at Providence Golf Club.
In the Class 2A girls event, American Heritage won at 601 as Bishop Moore finished 10th, with junior Emma Sanabria 15th at 151.
