Overview

  • Thousands of items, from plastic bats to handwritten notes, were moved to a secret Birmingham warehouse by the Central BID for controlled processing.
  • A detailed digital record of every tribute is under development to ensure the Osbourne family can access and preserve fans’ messages.
  • Collected bouquets are being transformed into a special compost blend destined for Ozzy’s resting place and the family’s Buckinghamshire estate.
  • Select artifacts, including guitars, T-shirts and memorabilia, have been earmarked for display at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery.
  • Nearly new clothes and toys from the shrine will go to Acorns Children’s Hospice, and standout letters will be sent in physical form to the Osbournes.
