Overview
- Binance announced the closure on Tuesday, Oct. 13, setting a hard cutoff at 07:00 UTC on Nov. 10 and an archival deadline of 07:00 UTC on Nov. 24 for historical pool pages.
- The shutdown covers Binance Pool plus Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, mining pool APIs, Telegram hashrate alerts and email notifications.
- Miners must reconfigure rigs to point to other pools before the Nov. 10 cutoff because Binance will disable Stratum endpoints and stop accepting hashrate and shares after that time.
- Eligible unpaid rewards, refunds and balances will be processed after the closure but payouts depend on Binance’s product rules, account verification and compliance checks with a 23:59 UTC Nov. 10 verification deadline for users expecting final payments.
- Binance Pool accounted for a meaningful slice of network power (about 26 EH/s or roughly 2.3% of Bitcoin’s hashrate at end-2025) so the closure will redistribute work among other pools while newer pool software standards such as Stratum V2 advance.
