Binance to Block HTX, EXMO and 10 Other Crypto Platforms

Regulatory changes let exchanges block entire counterparties, prompting compliance holds that have begun to drain HTX liquidity.

Overview

  • Binance said it will stop processing transactions tied to 11 platforms from Aug. 23, which adds to five earlier restrictions and brings the total number of affected entities to 16.
  • The Aug. 23 group named Rapira, Aifory Pro, ABCeX, WhiteBird, NoOnecrypto, Tradex, Monease, BitPapa, Exnode/Exnode Pay, HTX (formerly Huobi) and EXMO as subject to the cutoff.
  • Binance warned that transfers involving the listed providers may be held for compliance review and that related wallets could face temporary limits while investigations proceed.
  • Market providers report that the announcements have already thinned liquidity on HTX, including a visibly reduced ETH order book and constrained deposit and withdrawal channels.
  • The moves follow the EU’s 21st sanctions package and U.S. Treasury designations that prioritize counterparty-level screening over static address blacklists, a shift driven by rapid wallet rotation and intermediary routing that complicate sanctions detection.
