Binance Executives Sue Nigerian Government for Human Rights Violations

The lawsuit follows their detention and alleged mistreatment after being invited to discuss the crypto exchange's operations.

Tigran Gambaryan and Nadeem Anjarwalla, Binance executives, have filed lawsuits against Nigeria's National Security Adviser and the Economic Financial Crimes Commission.
The executives were detained upon arrival in Nigeria in February, following an invitation to discuss Binance's operations.
Anjarwalla escaped custody last week, while both seek the return of their passports and a public apology.
Nigeria has charged Binance and the executives with tax evasion, demanding information on the exchange's top 100 users in the country.
A hearing scheduled for April 8 was adjourned without representation from the accused agencies.
