- Bimota confirmed Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani for its sophomore WorldSBK season and revealed an updated KB998 look with black replacing last year’s blue alongside red, white and green.
- The manufacturer says improving straight-line speed is the top technical priority after showing strong corner performance in 2025.
- Preseason running at Jerez and Portimão was largely washed out, with test rider Xavi Fores doing the Portimão mileage as Lowes and Bassani stayed in the garage.
