Bilt Launches Three-Tier Credit Cards With 10% Intro APR and New ‘Bilt Cash’ Rewards

Housing points now depend on Bilt Cash earned from everyday purchases to unlock rent or mortgage rewards.

Overview

  • The Blue ($0 annual fee, $100 Bilt Cash), Obsidian ($95, $200 Bilt Cash), and Palladium ($495, 50,000 points plus $300 Bilt Cash) cards replace the Wells Fargo–issued Bilt Mastercard.
  • Cardholders earn 4% back in Bilt Cash on non-housing spend, plus tiered Bilt Points rates that include 3x on dining or groceries on Obsidian and a flat 2x on Palladium.
  • To earn points on rent or mortgage, users apply Bilt Cash to offset the effective 3% fee or pay that fee on any uncovered portion; paying housing without rewards remains fee-free.
  • Bilt Cash expires at year-end with limited rollover ($100 for most members, $300 for Palladium), and housing payments carry no preset cap or use of the credit line.
  • A 10% APR applies to new purchases for 12 months before standard rates above 20% resume, with existing members choosing their replacement card by Jan. 30 and new cards going live Feb. 7 via Cardless and issuing bank Column N.A.
