Bilt 2.0 Launches Three-Card Lineup With New Bilt Cash Rewards and 10% Intro APR

The relaunch ties housing points to Bilt Cash redemptions instead of automatic, fee-free rent rewards.

Overview

  • Bilt unveiled the Blue, Obsidian, and Palladium cards issued via Cardless with Column N.A., replacing the prior Wells Fargo–issued Bilt Mastercard.
  • All three cards include a 10% introductory APR on new purchases for 12 months, after which variable rates return to levels commonly above 20%.
  • Cardholders earn 4% in Bilt Cash on everyday non-housing spend, which can be redeemed to unlock housing points at a rate of $30 Bilt Cash for 1,000 Bilt Points.
  • Rent and mortgage payments can be made without a transaction fee, but earning points on any uncovered portion requires either sufficient Bilt Cash or an optional 3% fee.
  • Preorders are open now, migrations must be selected by Jan. 30 to keep the same card number, new cards go live Feb. 7, and non-migrated Wells Fargo accounts convert to Wells Fargo Autograph.
