Billy Joel To Conclude Legendary Madison Square Garden Residency After 150 Shows

Billy Joel will play his final show of his Madison Square Garden residency in July 2024, marking the end of 147 shows over 10 years that sold over 1.6 million tickets and grossed $250 million.
The residency began in January 2014 and Joel has played nearly every month at the arena, with only a handful of shows delayed due to COVID-19 and medical issues.
Joel brought out many surprise guests over the years, including Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Jimmy Fallon, Tony Bennett, Sting, and Jon Bon Jovi.
Despite the conclusion of the residency, Joel is not retiring and still has 10 more MSG shows on sale through September 2022.
The final 10 shows, called the "countdown shows," will begin in October 2023 and build up to the grand finale in July 2024.
