Overview

  • Buffalo brought in three veteran kickers for Thursday workouts, a move reported by Jordan Schultz and reflected on the league’s transaction wire.
  • Starter Tyler Bass missed much of camp with pelvic soreness but returned for the preseason finale, going 3-for-4 on field goals and hitting two extra points.
  • Eddy Piñeiro, recently released by the Panthers, has made 111 of 126 career field goals (88.1%) and previously worked with Bills special teams coordinator Chris Tabor.
  • Zane Gonzalez, released by Washington in April after a 2024 stint there, is 96-for-120 on career field goals (80%) and also has past experience with Tabor.
  • Greg Joseph, released by the 49ers this summer, owns an 82.3% career field-goal rate (116-for-141) with a long of 61 yards, and no signing has been announced following the tryouts.
