Bills Bolster Defensive Line, Sign Former Seahawks Standout Poona Ford

The Buffalo Bills signed nose tackle Poona Ford, a five-season veteran of the Seattle Seahawks, to a one-year contract.
The Bills had hoped to draft a defensive tackle but were unable to do so, and the signing bolsters the position and adds depth.
The Bills also re-signed defensive tackle Jordan Phillips to a one-year deal this offseason.
Ford set a career high in sacks last season but saw diminished impact in the Seahawks’ new defense.
In five seasons, Ford has compiled 7.5 sacks, 182 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, and 27 quarterback hits, emerging as a starting defensive lineman.
