Billion-Dollar 'Americana' Theme Park Planned for Oklahoma Route 66

A new $2 billion 'Americana-themed' theme park called American Heartland is planned for northeast Oklahoma along Route 66.
The 125-acre park aims to be comparable to Disneyland in size and is slated to open in phases starting in 2025.
The park is being developed by former Disney Parks builders and Imagineers to attract millions of visitors annually.
The destination will feature roller coasters, water rides, shows, dining, and themed 'lands' including Great Plains and Electropolis.
An RV park, 300-room hotel, and indoor waterpark are also planned as part of the multi-billion dollar development.
