Overview

  • Brian Wilson, co-founder and vocalist of the Beach Boys, died on June 11 at 82 after a dementia battle first disclosed in February 2024; his family has not released a cause of death.
  • Billie Joe Armstrong took to Instagram on June 12 to unveil a punk-infused cover of the 1964 hit “I Get Around” that he recorded years ago but never shared until now.
