Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell to Receive Chairman’s Award at Palm Springs Film Festival

The award is for their song “What Was I Made For?” from the film Barbie, with the festival taking place from Jan. 4 to 15, 2024.

Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell will receive the Chairman’s Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival for their song “What Was I Made For?” from the film Barbie.
The festival will take place on Jan. 4 and run through Jan. 15, 2024.
Eilish and O’Connell, who are siblings, wrote “What Was I Made For” together, and Eilish performs it.
Other honorees include Carey Mulligan, Cillian Murphy, Colman Domingo, Danielle Brooks, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Emma Stone, Greta Gerwig, Jeffrey Wright, and “Killers of the Flower Moon”.
Eilish made history as the youngest artist to receive nominations in all the major categories at the 62nd Grammy Awards and is also the youngest artist to write and record a James Bond song, “No Time to Die,” which won an Academy Award for best original song.
