• Nathan Cooper, 40, was sentenced to four years and three months at Southampton Crown Court after pleading guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving, drink and drug driving, and assault.
• Forensic tests found he was over the legal alcohol limit and above the specified cannabis threshold when his off-road bike struck two girls at Test Park, Millbrook, on 23 June 2024.
• CCTV and phone footage showed him racing through the park and riding directly at a group of six girls, with witnesses describing him as "showing off."
• Police said his 11-year-old daughter was riding pillion at the time, and the seized motorcycle will be destroyed.
• The 13-year-old remains in recovery as her family thanks the air ambulance crew and hospital staff who treated her, while a 14-year-old suffered minor injuries.
