Overview

• The Bihar Public Service Commission began accepting online applications on July 15 for 88 assistant professor positions at government Ayurvedic colleges in Patna and Begusarai.
• Eligible candidates must hold a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery degree and a postgraduate MD/MS in the relevant discipline with completed internship training.
• Age limits are set at 27–45 years for unreserved categories with higher caps for BC/EBC, SC/ST, women and serving AYUSH medical service doctors.
• Appointments carry a Level 11 pay band of ₹15,600–39,100 plus a ₹6,600 grade pay and government allowances.
• Applicants must submit forms through bpsc.bihar.gov.in by August 8 and possess valid Bihar State Ayurvedic and Unani Medical Council registration along with an NCISM Teacher Code.
