Overview
- The JVC/Times Now opinion poll projects the NDA at 120–140 seats versus 93–112 for the Mahagathbandhan in the 243-member assembly, with estimated vote shares of 41–43% and 39–41% respectively.
- Within the alliances, BJP is pegged at 70–81 seats and JD(U) at 42–48, while RJD is forecast at 69–78, Congress 9–17, and CPI(ML) 12–14, with smaller allies in low single digits.
- Tejashwi Yadav is the most preferred chief ministerial face at 33% against Nitish Kumar at 29%, and the INDIA bloc has formally named Yadav as its candidate.
