• The latest raids in Saran district’s Mashrak, Panapur, and Isuapur rescued 17 minors, bringing the total to 162 since May 2024.

• Rescued minors, lured with promises of money, jobs, and social media fame, were forced to perform and subjected to inappropriate acts.
• The operation was led by the Women’s Police Station in collaboration with local police and NGOs such as Mission Mukti Foundation and Rescue Foundation.
• The minors, originating from West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Delhi, and Bihar, have been reunited with families pending Child Welfare Committee proceedings.
