Bihar Police Announces Recruitment for 19,838 Constable Positions

Online applications open March 18 for candidates meeting eligibility criteria, with exams and physical tests part of the selection process.

The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has announced 19,838 constable vacancies in Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police.
The application process will begin on March 18, 2025, and close on April 18, 2025, through the official website csbc.bihar.gov.in.
Eligibility requires candidates to have passed Class 12 or equivalent qualifications by April 18, 2025.
The selection process includes a written examination of 100 objective-type questions followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Application fees are ₹675 for general candidates, while SC/ST, all women, and transgender applicants from Bihar will pay ₹180.
