Bihar FIRs Allege Fraud in Congress’s Mai Behan Maan Yojana, Name Tejashwi Yadav

Police in Darbhanga have opened investigations into complaints of fee collection linked to personal data misuse.

An FIR at Singhwara police station cites allegations connected to the Congress-launched Mai Behan Maan Yojana, which promises Rs 2,500 monthly to eligible women.
The primary complainant, Gudia Devi, alleges a Rs 200 cash payment was taken during enrollment and that Aadhaar, bank details, and mobile numbers were collected.
The case names Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav along with Sanjay Yadav, Rishi Mishra, and Maskoor Ahmad Usmani as accused.
The station house officer confirmed registration of the case, and police said inquiries are underway.
In a separate filing, Chandrika Devi alleges her documents were misused to seek a widow pension for Bhagmati Devi, reported as deceased since 1975.
