Overview

  • Over 7.1 crore electors—about 89.7% of Bihar’s 7.9 crore electorate—have submitted enumeration forms, leaving roughly 5.8% outstanding
  • The EC has identified 5.76 lakh potential duplicates, 12.55 lakh probable deceased and 17.37 lakh likely shifted voters for further review
  • Details of these flagged entries have been shared with district party presidents and 1.5 lakh Booth Level Agents for confirmation by the July 25 deadline
  • Official probes by the Election Commission and Patna District Administration found no evidence of BLOs improperly signing forms and dismissed viral fraud videos as false
  • A draft electoral roll will be published on August 1 and the final list on September 30 ahead of the October–November assembly elections
