A Class 10 student in Bihar's Rohtas district fatally shot a peer and injured another after a disagreement over sharing answers during board exams.
The incident occurred on February 20 when the accused confronted his classmates returning home from their Social Science exam in an autorickshaw.
Police revealed the accused had been bullied and assaulted by classmates for years and had acquired a country-made pistol using earnings from online trading.
The deceased, identified as Amit Kumar, succumbed to a spinal cord injury, while the injured student, Sanjeet Kumar, is in stable condition.
Local villagers and the victim's family protested by blocking a highway, but police assured swift action, leading to the arrest of the accused and recovery of the weapon.
