Overview

  • The cabinet approved acquisition of 2,627 acres of land at ₹812 crore for five new industrial areas and 1,300 acres for an Integrated Manufacturing Cluster at Dobhi in Gaya.
  • The cabinet sanctioned ₹290.91 crore for Obstacle Limitation Surfaces surveys at six greenfield airports and ₹137.17 crore for land acquisition and CAT I lighting at Gaya airport to enable all-weather operations.
  • The cabinet doubled JP Senani pensions from ₹7,500/₹15,000 to ₹15,000/₹30,000 per month, extending benefits to about 3,354 recipients who were jailed during the Emergency.
  • The cabinet raised annual honoraria for Booth Level Officers from ₹10,000 to ₹14,000 and for supervisors from ₹15,000 to ₹18,000, sanctioning ₹38.75 crore to cover the increases.
  • The cabinet approved a 50% waiver on registration fees for owners scrapping BS-I and BS-II vehicles, sanctioned revised estimates for the Punpun suspension bridge and Patna flyover connections, and backed a ₹35.14 crore textile factory in Gaya.
