Bihar Board Class 12 Exams Begin February 1 with Updated Guidelines
The Bihar School Examination Board has introduced new rules, including a temporary relaxation of the dress code, for over 12.9 lakh students appearing in the exams across the state.
- The BSEB Class 12 exams will take place from February 1 to February 15, 2025, across 1,677 centers in Bihar, with over 12.92 lakh students registered.
- Exam timings are split into two shifts: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with entry gates closing 30 minutes before each shift begins.
- In a temporary change, students are allowed to wear shoes and socks for exams scheduled from February 1 to 5 due to cold weather conditions; this will be reviewed afterward.
- Strict security measures, including CCTV surveillance, two-level frisking, and restrictions on electronic devices, will be enforced to ensure a fair examination process.
- Candidates must arrive at least one hour before the exam start time, and no entry will be permitted after gate closure to avoid disruptions.
